Am I a candidate for Breast augmentation?

How does Breast augmentation surgery performed?

If you have disproportionately big breasts that may cause pain in neck or back, you might choose performing breast reduction surgery to ease discomfort or to achieve a size proportionate to your body.

Are you a good candidate for a breast reduction?
You can have breast reduction at any age. however, it’s better to wait until your breasts development stops .
If you dont have kids yet, you may delay breast reduction surgery until pregnancy isn’t an issue, because changes to breast tissue during pregnancy could affect on the results of breast reduction,as well breast-feeding may be difficult after breast reduction surgery.

Why I need breast reduction?

How you prepare for breast reduction ?
Our plastic surgeon will answer any questions you may have, and take a detailed medical history.
You may need to do a mammogram, electrocardiogram (ECG) or chest x-ray. follow all instruction given by the doctor to achieve the best results and minimize the chance of complications.
Our surgeon will ask you to:
Examine and measure your breasts
Take photographs of your breasts for your medical record
Avoid taking aspirin, certain anti-inflammatory drugs and some herbal medications to control bleeding during surgery.
Stop smoking at least six weeks before surgery to promote better healing.
Stop drinking alcohol for 4 days before undergo the operation at least.
Avoid food and drink containing salt during your recovery.
During recovery, your arms will have a limited range of motion.
You must not lift, drive or do laundry and cleaning for the first two weeks.
Rest and sleep on your back continuously in an inclined position (25 to 45 degree angle) for few days or while fluent swelling remains.
Avoid hot showers and saunas for 3 weeks.
Wear clothes that open in front for the first few days.
Breast reductions patient is usually an outpatient (no need to stay in the hospital), so you need someone to drive you home after surgery and stay with you at least the first night following surgery.

How is the breast reduction performed?
Breast reduction surgery is usually done under general anesthesia, which means you will be put to “sleep” during the procedure.
The particular technique used with breast reduction may vary. Generally, the surgeon makes a cut around the areola and down the breast. extra fat ,tissue and skin are then removed of each breast, your nipple and areola might need to be repositioned at a higher place on your breast as a skin graft.
